Im 100% Italian, very selective about food and for me this place was very good! We sat at the bar with Michael who gave us the best service....The Caesar Salad was the best I've ever had ....Could win awards.... Cocktails, dinner, dessert, all amazing! And the Cappuccino Michael made was perfect! I could eat here once a week!!!! And to Jessie,...the reviewer who felt the need to slander this restaurant! No the Mexican cantina down the street cant come close the experience as this place, as I've eaten there....The tip the hostess gave you about not having kid menu was only meant to prepare you for the price tag on a small restaurant that doesn't have wide range options.... She was extending a favor... My daughter has food allergies and every item we selected was checked personally by our server ...So they do go above and beyond call of duty

Our expectations were exceeded Friday night. We sat down promptly at 5:30, and received wonderful service from (Emily I believe) through out our meal. The staff was always there to top off our beverages and prepare us for our next course. We felt attended to without having a sense of being hovered over. As for the food, it was a work of art. I won't share all the juicy details, but don't miss out on the Braised Octupus or Grouper! We will be back!!

The Hungry Detective and new sidekick had a fabulous experience at my old new favorite Italian spot in Charleston!!! The food: started with the grouper braciole served up super hot in a La Cruset covered mini pot. Main courses....The tile fish is five stars and the plate was clean...”better than sex” Wine: Michael selected a fabulous red from Sicily!!! VERDICT: I usually do not go out on a limb but Coda de Pesce goes above and beyond the call of duty and guilty as sin for doing everything to perfection!!! Note: Sit at the bar....Michael the bartender is a true professional and knows his stuff...great suggestions that were on point!!!

Incredible meal, definitely worth the trip! The grouper and tilefish were delicate and delicious, recommended wine complemented perfectly. Everything else from the Sicilian bread to the ambience were outstanding, shockingly the best meal we enjoyed when visiting the Charleston area.

Words cannot explain how good the food is here. I have been to many up scale restaurants in my life and this is easily #1 on my list. Chef Ken Vedrinski puts on an absolute experience. Also, the atmosphere is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We will be back, already planning another date night. Thank you for making our Anniversary a memorable one.

One of, if not THE best, restaurant for food in Charleston. Had several courses and every single one was just amazing. The chef really knows what he's doing with flavor. It can be hard to get a reservation, but totally worth it!

You HAVE to go to this restaurant! Beautiful ambience and breathtaking view of the ocean from floor to almost ceiling windows. We had an amazing server who was proud of the restaurant and was very knowledgeable about the menu. He provided stellar service. We went for my husband's 26th birthday and although we went with a few dishes in mind we decided to be spontaneous and try the chef's tasting menu. It was incredible! Very exciting not knowing what's going to show up next. We got to try various types of fish and seafood and a decadent dessert. The one downside is that the portions are a bit small for the tasting but I could see from other tables that ordered straight off of the menu that any entree on the menu would be very filling. The food is pricey but I would say priced fairly. You definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. Overall amazing night and delicious food. We WILL be going back again for sure.

My wife's birthday was expertly served by Angie. She's extremely knowledgeable and kind. Eric seated us at the window for a beautiful view. The oyster appetizer was innovative and delicious. The swordfish was tender and fresh. We had a memorable time and look forward to our next visit
